Institut Darul Ridzuan (IDR) is the think tank for the Perak state government, dedicated to driving impactful policies and strategic initiatives. We are looking for a passionate and dynamic Executive, Centre of Excellence Minerals Research to join us.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the planning, implementation, and monitoring of IDR led projects and initiatives.
  • Coordinate research, data analysis, and stakeholder engagement to support evidence-based policy recommendations.
  • Prepare project reports, documentation, and presentations for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Manage and track project deliverables, timelines, and outcomes against key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Support interdepartmental collaboration and communication for project alignment.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, policies, and reporting standards.
  • Participate in continuous improvement efforts related to project governance and impact measurement.

Requirements:

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Project Management, Business Administration or a related field. A Master’s degree will be considered an added advantage.
Experience: 1-3 years in project management.

Skills & Competencies:

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong analytical, research, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Project planning, coordination, and reporting proficiency.
  • High level of digital literacy and comfort with productivity and project management tools.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment.
  • Personnel with a mineral research background preferred

  • Collecting, cleaning, managing, and analysing large datasets relevant to economic and business environments.
  • Translating data into meaningful insights through dashboards, reports, and visualizations.
  • Collaborating with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure data-driven decision-making.
  • Assisting in identifying trends, patterns, and predictive models that support strategic initiatives.
  • Ensuring data governance, security, and ethical use of information.

Requirements:

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Economics, or a related field. A Master’s degree will be considered an added advantage.
Experience: 1–3 years in data analytics, data science, or related roles, preferably with exposure to private sector data.

Skills & Competencies:

  • Proficiency in data analytics tools such as Python, R, SQL, Tableau, or Power BI.
  • Solid understanding of statistical methods and machine learning fundamentals.
  • Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in developing and maintaining brand guidelines (logos, typography, colors) and ensure consistency across all platforms
  • Create compelling visual content for press releases, corporate updates, and presentations.
  • Design engaging materials (posters, digital displays) to enhance employee communication.
  • Provide creative design support for internal/external events.
  • Maintain an organised library of templates, graphics, and archived projects for seamless workflow.
  • Liaise with external vendors (printers, photographers) to ensure high-quality deliverables

Requirements:

Education: Diploma in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, Media Studies, or any other related fields.
Experience: 1-3 years in Graphic design or a similar creative role, preferably within a corporate or agency setting.

Skills & Competencies:

  • Proficiency in design software (e,g, Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Premiere Pro).
